ART BASEL MIAMI

This project was a collaboration with my very talented artistic friend Alessandro Painsi for ART BASEL 2022. I would like to specifically thank Rudolf Boja for exhibiting our work together with the coat by Kristoffer Simonsen.

I constructed these boots at my home in Milano using the painted canvas stripes, which Alessandro shipped to me from Denmark.

So, I weaved these stripes into a patchwork and used this as the main design feature. Some stripes were so long which you can either slide back into the patchwork or let them loose and while walking or any movement they give a beautiful free flowing energy.

I also would like to thank my friends from ECCO Leather and VIBRAM who provided me with materials and especially support making these boots.
